The OS Giken OS-88 gearbox is a sequential 6-speed gearbox designed to suit the BNR32 and BCNR33 GT-R.
It can also be used in the BNR34 but will require an R33 transfer case and front prop shaft.
It bolts up to the Nissan transfer case and has a bellhousing to suit any RB engine.
It also comes complete with shifter, digital shift indicator and pull-up reverse lock-out sleeve.
OS Giken designed this sequential gearbox to handle 1500hp, while retaining quiet helical-cut gears.
To do this the gear axis has been increased to 88mm, while most internal parts are forged.
The dog-engagement of the gears allows extremely fast shifting, but does require regular inspection to ensure trouble-free operation.
This gearbox comes with the following gear ratios:
1st 2.609
2nd 1.934
3rd 1.521
4th 1.210
5th 1.000
6th 0.852

Option 1: 2.609, 1.934, 1.521, 1.210, 1.000, 0.785
Option 2: 2.890, 1.981, 1.468, 1.174, 1.000, 0.757
Option 3: 2.516, 1.865, 1.468, 1.174, 1.000, 0.822
Note that this gearbox uses a larger 26-spline input shaft (not Nissan 24-spline).
It is recommended to order a matching R3C or R4C OS Giken clutch to go with this gearbox. If you already have a R3C or R4C you will just need to replace the center hub.
