This short shifter ensures that you cannot accidentally get into reverse when driving enthusiastically and prevents you from going from 5 to 2 when shifting quickly (Also called "the money shift" because you can drive the engine too high in revs). We also recommend pouring Royal Purple Synchromax into the gearbox at the same time, because if your gearbox shifts smoothly, the shifter feels like a great upgrade.
The set comes with a set of white rings to reinforce mounting.
