The transfer case uses an electric actuator to activate a hydraulic clutch. When this clutch is engaged, the front wheels participate in the drive (In other words, power also goes from the engine to the front wheels)
When worn, we see that these clutches are worn and the chain can stretch, this ensures for a thump in the drive.
And we see bearings that wear out and create a metallic singing sound.
In this rebuild we replace all bearings , seals, clutch plates, chain and chain guides. In addition, the box is thoroughly cleaned to make all parts work smoothly again.
We need your box/car for 1 week to be able to overhaul the box in its entirety.< /p>
