The BMW G8X driveshafts are based on a tripod bearing instead of the original CV joint.

This is 1 complete driveshaft including half-shaft/shaft part that plugs into the differential. This setup is suitable for an original lock-up and an OS Giken superlock or TCD.

Advantages of the Tripod driveshafts:

- Higher strength

- Less friction

- Lower temperature

- Easy to maintain/install (also the differential is easier and faster to install)
