Flange for the differential of several BMW models, including the BMW 5 series F10 and F11 M550d. This is the flange that sits at the front of the differential where the cardan shaft connects.
The key on this flange gets play over time and in some cases the whole key strips off, preventing drive.
With BMW, this flange is not available separately and you would have to buy a complete differential and drive shaft new.
We can offer a used remanufactured differential with this flange to reduce costs and still provide a solid solution.
This flange is made of steel, the spline is made by wire sparking and the whole thing is nitrided after time.
