The oil thermostat delete is an effective way to lower the oil temperature on your S50B30, S50B32 or S54.
S50 and S54 oil filter housings have a connection for an oil cooler and also contain a thermostat that regulates the flow. However, even if this thermostat is open this thermostat is a limiting factor which prevents the full flow of oil through the cooler. A large part of the oil still does not pass through the cooler.
This bush fits instead of the thermostat in the filter housing and allows all the oil to flow through the cooler. This ensures a much lower oil temperature. Only use for road cars with an external thermostat.
