Balancer Bolt Installation
1. Clean and inspect all hardware prior to installation.
Look for obvious defects or shipping damages.
Please call 805-339-2200 with any questions or
issues.
2. To ensure proper thread engagement and accurate
torque readings, clean the threads in the end of the
crankshaft. Chase if necessary with a Thread
Chaser or Tap
3. Lubricate the under head of the bolt with ARP
Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant.
4. Place the washer onto the bolt
5. Lubricate the bolt threads with ARP Ultra-Torque
Fastener Assembly Lubricant.
6. Install the bolt and tighten by hand.
7. Torque the bolt to: 325 ft-lbs (440.6 Nm)
OR
75 ft-lbs (101.7 Nm) plus 90°
